John H. Parker (b. about 1808 in SC) married Honor Smith (b. abt 1812 in SC) about 1826 in SC. The family probably lived in Edgecombe Co., SC according to birth information on son, William Pinkney, below.

1. Robert Ransom Parker b. 1827 m. Savility (or Civility) Sullivan b. 1833 on 13Feb1850 in Madison Co., FL.
2. Daniel Parker b. 1830
3. Stafford J. Parker b. 1831
4. William Pinkney Parker b. 3May1835 in Edgefield Co., SC d. 12Dec1922, buried in Union Hill Cemetery, Pensacola, FL. William lived in Suwanne Co., and was a member of Captain McMullen's Company, 8th FL Inf., Co. K, in mid 1861. He enlisted on 27Oct1861 in this company at Tampa. he was captured at Gettysburg on 2July 1863 and released on oath on 10June1865 from Fort Delaware prison. He was 5'5", grey eyes, light skin, dark hair.(This information was provided in Hartman's Biographical Roster of Confederate Soldiers.)

5. Willis T. Parker b. 1835
6. Newton Parker b. 1842, d. 31May 1862 in Seven Pines, Henrico Co., VA. Newton served in the Confederacy in Co. L, 2nd FL Infantry. He enrolled on 5July1861 in Madison, FL and died at the Battle of Seven Pines or Batle of Fair Oaks near Richmond, VA.
7. Jasper Parker b. 1844, d. 26Sept1861 in Henrico Co., VA. He joined the Confederacy on 15May1861 Madison, FL and served in Co., L of the 2nd FL Infantry. He died from wounds received July 1861 at the Richmond Hospital.
8. George Parker b. 1848
