I am still enjoying Middle School! I do like the switching classes, having different teachers and having my own locker. I participated in my first Choir performance on October 19th. I will have a Holiday Choir performance on December 14th.
I am still active in Jr. Girl Scouts. We meet on Thursdays (twice a month). During October, we prepared for our campout. We went camping November 3rd-5th. It was a lot of fun! We went horseback riding, did archery, played games and hung out by the camp fire. We slept in platform tents, which are big tents on a wood platform and there were four cots in each tent. It was very cold on Friday night but Saturday night was great for camping! It was fun! In December, we will be planning/having our Troop Christmas party.
I will be going with my parents to the Renaissance Festival on Sat., November 11th. Their work will be having their Fall outing there again this year.
I'm staying busy with dance this year. I'm taking jazz, tap and ballet classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, competition rehearsal on Fridays and Technique classes and competition rehearsals on Saturdays. I am performing in 3 competion dances this year -- a large group character routine to "Cup of Life" (10 girls), a small group jazz routine to Escapade (5 girls) and a duet to S.O.S. with my friend Taylor. Our first competition will be the on November 18th. After the competition, I will be going to my friend's, Ashley & Alexandra, birthday slumber party.
For the Thanksgiving holiday, we will be traveling to Kansas to spend the holiday with my family. Have a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
