WELCOME
My name is Oma Meador Griffith and my husband,Tom, and I live in Texas. This page is not about our
Meador or Griffith side of the family, but about my great-grandmother, Matilda Willis and her ancestors.
She had always been a mystery and when I learned she had been born in Ohio, where my husband was
born, the search began. When I was ask if I would type the Willis material, I agreed to do so if I could
keep and use the material. This page not only includes my information and that gathered by Robert M.
Willis, but also a great part by the many relatives I have met on the internet. We would like for you to use
it as a guide in your search for your elusive ancestors.
Martha Kountz, of the Briggs Library of Ironton, Lawrence County, Ohio, has graciously agreed to put
a link to this page so there will be easy access to the books by Robert M Willis, now deceased. In
the meantime, I will start typing the ninth book by Mr. Willis.
