Editor's Notes(June 22, 2001): On vacation today. Rainy day but nice to be off today. Caroll O'connor died yesterday. I remember ' All in the family' well. Camping coming up soon a nice little break. The rest of my vacation might get scrubbed by the office. They plan the budget at the same time each year..summer. We spend all of August running around like headless chickens to get the budget done. This year I am responsible for the budget preparation. I don't mind, and like working with numbers but it's somewhat of a thankless job.
