I was born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania and married my highschool sweetheart in 1960. Carol & I have two children, Bill who married Beverly and Janet who married Jeff. We now have 5 fantastic grandkids. I also served with the U S Army for 23 years and retired  in the grade of First Sergeant. I currently reside in Columbia, South Carolina, and I am employed at Moncrief Army Community Hospital, Fort Jackson SC. My wife, Carol, and I are GAMECOCK fanatics,  and very seldom miss a home Basketball game. As far as football is concerned, we have only missed 6 games, HOME or AWAY in 16 years.     GO COCKS!!

Hobbies

Hobbies include, but not limited to Wood working.  I'll build to your specifications and requirements.  I'll take my time, but the results will be well worth waiting for.  I rarely will charge more than 150% of the material costs ( unless you want something ridiculous like a 36 coat hand- rubbed Swedish oil finish, then we'll talk). If you are within 50 miles of the Columbia area, contact me via the net.

Trains - Old Lionel and the German version of "HO", Marklin.  When my children married and moved, I converted their rooms to "Train Rooms". LOL.  A 48 sq ft layout with three trains running and 2 more on sidings, Just A-Huffing & A-Puffing to move is a permanent part of our home.

Fly fishing - When time permits, there is nothing more I like to do then flyfish for Rainbow Trout.

I also have a 3rd generation stamp collection.  I would be interested in selling the foreign stamps. They are from all over the world, and a lot from countries that don't exist, except in the history books.
