School Activities and Fun

The experiences learned during this time will last you a lifetime.

Think about this summer: Perhaps you went fishing!

It is true that fishing days will soon be over, but when you return to school, you can catch up with all of your old friends and go FISHING for new ones!

By all means do not forget to include that special fishing trip in that report that your teacher wants at the beginning of the school year about WHAT YOU DID THIS SUMMER.
Perhaps you went camping under the stars and ate hot dogs over a campfire. Another wonderful memory of the summer and something else to share with your friends when you return to school

Now it is time to head:

So pack up your backpack:

With all of your new School Supplies!

Oh,Yes! Do not forget your lunch!!!

Of course, you can eat in the cafeteria!

Oh yes, and please do not forget to stop by the library to find a terrific book to read, to get help on a project or report or spend some extra time on the computer.

I know you will have fun in your art class!!!

Science lab is always fun as well as a challenge!

And then ther is Music Class! Terrific! Sing Your Heart Out!!!

And don't forget physical education. You MUST stay in shape.
Oh yes, make sure you have shoes that are in good shape. Remember your feet are growing and shoes that do not fit the correct way can cause problems now and later on.

Who knows, you may be a football player someday!

If not a player, you can always go and yell for your team!
And of course there is Social Studies! It is so important to learn about the people and the world in which you live.

I hope that your school year is a fantastic one whether it be your first or your last. Just remember one important thing we never stop learning, no matter how old we become.

NOTE TO PARENTS
Remember that each day is a new one for your prescious child. Please make sure you take the time to take part in all of the activities you can supporting their school. If your child is in a program, please be there,this is so important to them. They may not tell you in so many words, and older students may act like they do not want to be seen with you, but nothing is further from the truth. They will treasure each moment that you take to spend with them. Yes, they will need help with homework, and you need to be there for that also. Believe it or not it can be fun and as I told the kids, we are never too old to stop learning. Hope that you and your youngsters have a wonderful school year.

One more quick note! Please make sure all of you are careful whether you are driving or walking to school. Make this year the best ever!
