Lara was facinated by this guy working on the pottery wheel. One thing I try to remember now that MY kids are grown up is to let them be facinated, don't make them "move on" just because it's not what you want to see, let them have fun while they are at the Fair so they can have something to talk to their mom about when they get home. (Was that ONE thing)
The girls both have beautiful smiles. I don't remember what animal she was looking at while in the petting area. Mellisa chose not to go in.
We always had time to do another craft. During the Spring Fair there is not the huge crowds or the "too much to see" anxiety so we usually get to "do it all".
Lara spent a good 10 minutes pounding on each and every can and lid she could reach. This was just after lunch so she was well rested. I don't remember if Melissa was just not interested or a slow eater.
Michael calls this "working". If it takes him 10 minutes to do the job and he sleeps for 30 minutes then he was "working" for 40 minutes. Like his father, he can sleep anywhere.
