Can you believe that our precious princess Stephanie is already a year old. Can't call her a baby anymore but she will always be my baby.

Do you think that she would be smiling so big if she knew that this present from Grandma and Grandpa Nance is a Potty chair???

Stephanie had her 1st Birthday 9/28.  We had her party on Sunday the 26th with about 20 people.  It was a great success.  I took each of the children's pictures as they came in and printed them out off of the computer.  Handed them (and their Mommies) the picture, a red painted wood 5X7 frame, stickers, glue, mini erasers ( in a variety of shapes) some little rubber bugs, snakes, frogs and lizards, and a pair of scissors and let them decorate their own frames.  The parents and kids thought it was a fantastic idea and it kept the group entertained for over 35 min.  Yeah!
We had some games for the kids to play and the prizes were tied to balloons.  In two corners of the party room were big planters filled with prizes (one with girl prizes, one with boy prizes).  Each prize was tied to a balloon and when a child won a game, they chose a balloon and pulled up their prize. (they kept the balloons also)  I am not sure which the kids liked better, picking the ballons, or getting the prizes.  LOL

Stephanie's cake was HUGE but as you can see, her guests enjoyed almost every bite.

Steve cooked Texas sized burgers and hotdogs on the grill.  We had allllllll the fixins (plus some) and people just ate and ate and ate.  Heck, even the men from Steve's work enjoyed themselves.  One of the neighbors commented that our party would be a hard one to follow.  LOL  Maybe I did over do it, just a little...but gosh I had fun planning and decorating.
