Diamond

Diamond would make a great family pet. She is great with children and adults. She is training in obedience and is also crate trained. She is a hard worker and she is a quick learner.

Diamond was brought to Town & Country Veterinary Medical Center for treatment after she was attacked by another dog. Her owner never returned for her. She is spayed. Her vaccinations are current and she is heartworm negative. She is just over 1 year old.

Diamond may be dog aggressive. Her exposure to other dogs has been limited since she came to stay at the clinic.

Perspective homes must have a fenced in yard and Diamond must be an indoor dog. The family must be committed to providing a permanent home. Anything less than permanent is not acceptable.

For more information about Diamond call Town & County Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm at (254) 634-0391 or email Townsendsb@aol.com. (Posted 10/21/00)

A 3-year-old pit bull was abaondoned in a South Central Los Angeles neighborhood. She has fully recovered physically and emotionally from her weeks on the streets, and is an intelligent and gentle dog looking for a home. After a "getting acquainted" time, she is good with other dogs, with the exception of small yippy ones. She does not do well with cats. She jumps when excited, and is a remarkable jumper. Amber was apparently an inside dog. She is current on all her shots, is spayed and flealess (via Frontline). She is Brown brindle, 61lbs, and has uncropped ears. For more information call Nic at (323) 735-3400 and leave a message or e-mail TheNelsons@aol.com The foster owners would like to place Amber with Snoopy (listed below). (Posted 1/5/01)

Snoopy is the favorite of a 3-year-old: she never pushes on him or barks near him, and obviously enjoys his company. She reacts badly around skateboards. She is current on all her shots, is spayed and flealess (via Frontline). She is tan and white, 45lbs, with badly cropped and scarred ears. For more information call Nic at (323) 735-3400 and leave a message or e-mail TheNelsons@aol.com . The foster owners would like to place Amber and Snoopy together. (Posted 1/5/01)
