The following pages are intended to show the results of my researches into the derivation of the Surname and also the genealogy of some of the earlier bearers of the name.
I would like to think that I am related to some of the latter but I make no such claim as alas my own family researches do not (yet) extend that far back.
I welcome any feedback from interested parties and will be interested to hear from any Furnival related readers wherever their ancestors settled.
