Breeding Quality Poodles Since 1971

We have retired and left Iowa for the warm winters of southern Missouri. Yes the poodles moved with us, were else would they want to be. R'Tec Poodles is the name of our breeding and exhibiting of Standard and Toy Poodles operation.

R'Tec Poodles breed for the betterment of this wonderful breed. Our breeding philosophy gives equal weight to temperament, health, and conformation. Our Standard Poodle line produces black, apricot, white, cream and some times silver beige puppies. Our Toy Poodle line produces black, cream, apricot, red and white puppies. Although we breed for show dogs, the reality is, most of the puppies in any given litter go to pet homes, and that is what is uppermost in our minds when we plan a breeding and raise a litter.

Our goal is to match up every puppy we raise with a loving, nurturing environment, where they can live out a full and happy life. We consider our puppies to be adoptions, so if you contact us, expect to be asked questions about previous pets, type of home, etc. If you pass our interview and decide to adopt one of our babies, in return, you will have a lifetime of support from us.
