Since our last post, we've had some awesome family time this year so far! Praise God! For starters, Bethany is able to dress herself now and picks out what she wants to wear for the day. Her common theme is "Simply Dresses". Bethany believes that there is a dress for every occasion and it doesn't matter what you already have on. As long as there is a dress on top, you're "beeeeeeuteeful!". Her morning catwalks is what we all look forward to before breakfast.

Our February babies celebrated another birthday at home, eating yummy food of their choice. Only they get to eat their special request, while the rest of us shares a pizza! Jeff hit the big 43 and Aly is now 7. This year, Micah helped me make Aly's birthday cake. We chose to surprise her with a pony ice cream cake, because Aly loves ponies! She was quite pleased with the result when we carried the cake out to her after dinner while singing "Happy Birthday". | ![]() |

In March, my parents came back to the states to spend time with family. This year, we chose to host our family reunion/vacation in Sequoia National Forest for a couple of days. We all got rooms at the Montecito Sequoia Lodge, nested under the huge giant sequoias. The kids and cousins have never ever seen such huge trees before and were completely amazed at God's hand in this creation. Since it was March, there was plenty of snow to play in and go tubbing down a nearby hill on. Gung-Gung had fun tossing snow balls at his grandkids. Micah was the only one crazy enough to attack back. | ![]() |

Bethany was making sure Micah knew where to focus his shot. Our next birthday baby to celebrate his special day was Micah. He turned 5 years old this month. Micah wanted a hand in making his birthday cake too, after having so much fun with Aly's birthday cake. He chose a bowling themed cake. Micah still loves to bowl! He has a duffle bag full of bowling toys to keep him entertained on rainy days. McDonalds had this electronic bowling toy as one of their happy meal trinkets and Micah managed to pick that up from the employees one afternoon. Micah is still King, when it comes to Wii bowling. Anyone up for a game? | ![]() |
