GREAT GRAND DAD

A rare picture with Nana. No third or fourth generation Clarke or Pollard remembers him, because he passed away in 1957. He was born in 1874, only nine years after the Civil War..  His parents came from Ireland, married in America, and set up a successful blacksmith shop on 35th Street in New York.  His two brothers and two sisters had no surviving family so Ian, Aislyn and Cole Pollard are the only  fourth generation Pollards.

IAN

Gene & Lisa's son Ian, 15 and 6'1",  is a high school freshman on the varsity football team, and just attended his first freshman dance this month (far right).  Our favorite picture of him (right) is with his Grandma Lee in 1987.  The swing is now on our deck in Carolina.  You are always invited to come see us,  anytimeJust call first because we travel occasionally, often without much planning.

COLE

Grandpa's favorite picture with Cole taken in 1992 and next to it is Cole today.   Ken and Claudia's son is now six and  a first grader in Salt Lake City.  He has a really big dog, Tank.

AISLYN

"Then" was taken at sixteen months.  Gene &  Lisa's daughter is now nine and  like most women in the family, ready to take over the world.   She's learned to play chess and gives PopPop a good game (see below). She and Ian have two dogs, Taos and Blue, and a cat too.
