I know you are only suppose to have one Best Friend, but life has been
very good to me
and blessed me with some wonderful people, I can't show you everyone on this page that has
touched my heart and made a huge impact on my life, but I will introduce you to a few that are
extra special to me. Since they each hold a special place in my heart, I will list them by the length of time that I have been blessed knowing them.
ANN
Ann and I met in Pensacola where we worked for the Naval base in 1973, it seems we became friends almost instantly and at times were almost inseperable. She has helped me through some hard times and has always stood by me, maybe not always agreeing with my decision but always there for me no questions asked.

Janet
Janet and I met in Houston in 1981 where she worked with my ex-husband. We started doing things together as couples, but when I divorced, she helped me alot with that emotional rollercoaster we all seem to experience, of course our "Girl's nite out" at Gilley's on Friday's didn't hurt our attitudes

CHERYL
Cheryl and I met in 1982, we were neighbors and you know how tight those friendships can become. I got to experience being part of her daughters growing up. She now lives in New York and I miss her terribly
I thank God for his blessings,
and the mercies He's bestowed.

LINDA
Linda and I met in 1987 in Houston through a mutual friend and it didn't take long for our friendship to take off. We have had some really good times together.

O, Remember times when things went wrong,
My faith wore somewhat thin.
But all at once the dark clouds broke,
and the sun peeped through again.
RHONDA
Rhonda and I met at work also around 1988, she quickly became my "breakfast buddy" we met every morning before work for breakfast and the friendship took off from there. We don't work together anymore, but do enjoy lunch and a movie almost every Sunday. The picture above is of her and her gorgeous son.

What to say about "The Princess"....We met in 1989 and became friends
pretty much instantly. I love her like a daughter and I think it makes us
even closer because she is the mother of 2 of my grandchildren

CATHY
Cathy and I met about 1990, a (friend) co-worker introduced us because she thought we would hit it off and we did, although there was an rather large age difference (she is the same age as my son) it didn't seem to matter, it gave me the opportunity to kid her about being her babysitter, but that never stopped us from having a good time. I miss our chat parties and after work happy hours (just getting to old for that stuff these days (hehehe).The picture above was taken in 2001 at our company Christmas party. I almost forgot to mention that she is the reason I got online in the first place and has taught me everything I know about a computer. And a special THANK YOU for all your help (as trying as it has been at times for you!!)

Kathy and I met about 1995, we worked together, once again the age difference that didn't seem to matter, we had some great times together.

SCOTT and JUDY
Scott and I met at a chat party in 1997 after becoming friends online in the "Texas Room" and became even better friends in real time, when he married Peachie, she just fit in like a glove. They have since moved to Oklahoma but we manage to stay in touch and see each other every chance we get.
