Enjoyed browsing through your site... We have one wonderful girl (soon to turn six); she was a "rescue dog," and we feel very lucky to have found her. She has graced our local fall festival parade (riding in the front seat of our '65 MGB) and most recently enjoyed the town's New Year festivities - she wore a party hat and everything! Although we noticed this morning that she obviously got too close to he bonfire and singed off her whiskers on the left side of her muzzle! I loved your pictures of your Bernards. We have two. Samson is one years old and Willy is 8 months. We bought them from a pet store (which I know is supported "puppy mills") but I fell in love with them and they needed a good home. Our older one is th more typical lazy Bernard. Willy on the other hand has soooo much energy and gets into trouble on a daily basis. Last week he brought in a bottle of fruit punch gatorade from the garage and opened it on my new beigh carpet! We love him but we have had to completely dog proof our house. I feel as though I will never be able to put out anything for fear he will break or chew it up. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Is this "normal" behavior? Will he grow out of it. Thank you from Las Vegas. Jen ifer.
