Career Change Dogs



Token is a neutered male Yellow Labrador Retriever raised by the Larson Household. He was their first puppy. Token was career changed and is now adored by a new family in Powell Butte, Oregon and is learning to be a waterfowl retriever.

Prego is also a neutered male yellow Lab raised by the Larson family. He was the Larson's second puppy. Prego was career changed due to a wedge shaped cataract found on one of his eyes. He was returned to the Larson family.

Planet is also a yellow Lab. He was raised by the Cummings family and was their first puppy. Planet was returned for training in September of 1997. He stayed in training for about six months, when he was career changed. Planet has been returned to the Cummings family where he is much loved.

Kilroy, a male yellow Labrador Retriever, was raised by the Miller family. Kilroy is a son of Temple, the Miller's first puppy that they raised. He was dropped from his formal training due to a behavior problem and now calls Corvallis, Oregon home with a new family.

Gary, a male yellow Labrador Retriever was raised by the Hurlburt family, as their second puppy. Gary was dropped as a guide due to eye problems. He was returned to the Hurlburt family as a pet.

Trophy, a LARGE male yellow Labrador Retriever, was the Sheeter family's third puppy. Trophy was more robust than his brother, Trigger. He was dropped in the final stages of training due to his dog distraction and size. He is loved by his new family in Crane, Oregon.

Trigger, a male black Labrador Retriever was raised by the Larson Family. Trigger was brother to Trophy and also a Demming son. He was dropped in the final stages of training.

Tray, a male yellow Labrador Retriever raised by the Miller family was dropped from training at eight months of age due to a serious injury requiring surgury. Tray was taken back as a family pet by teh Millers after his surgery.

Tray is now a loved pet owned by his raiser family.


Auburn is a male yellow Labrador Retriever who was transfered to the Sheeter family at eight months of age from his previous raiser family. He was dropped from training at stage 8. He was placed with a family member from his first raiser family in Medford, Oregon.

Diaz is a male yellow Labrador Retriever raised by the Hurlburt family. He was dropped from training and placed as a pet.
