My Son, Stanley
You might not be able to tell, but he's always been and is still quite a basketball and softball nut!
He's an avid Laker's fan and his favorite colors are purple & yellow.
But Stanley's most important and favorite warm-weather sport:
I need to add a little something here: Stanley took me to Maine (my Mom's camper on a lake) fishing for the weekend. Yup - just me and him. He even told me we had to have a fishing pool. We each put in $10 and winning fish size takes the pot. I couldn't believe I won!!! Being a Mom, I couldn't take his money and I bought him a digital scale on top of it. (I think he cheated though. The very last catch of the day was his and I know that bad boy gave my fish a run for his money but Stanley just threw it back in and said it wasn't as big as mine!)
Stanley's been a character all his life. As a toddler he knew he couldn't touch the Christmas tree bulbs so he would "belly up" to an ornament until he touched it, laugh and run away. When he was older in Church he would yell up to the altar "hey fodder." Then came the day when he asked the Monsignor if he worked with God. He's still a character right up to the present day. He's also loved by all. Stanley leaves an impression on every life he touches.
He's a wonderful son, a super brother, a great friend, and a terrific person.
I love you Stanley, with all my heart. I wish all the happiness in the world to be yours.
2/5/99 - How could you possibly be 30 years old? Again I'm asking where did the years go? This is one birthday you'll never forget. You're invitation to the Super Bowl Party said 5:00 p.m. - everyone else's invitation said 4:00 p.m. I can't believe they kept your birthday party a secret from you. You were a good sport at the Half-Time Show too. That's when you were given "Tons of Fun". If you want to check out Stanley's Birthday album, just click on Tons of Fun. I love you, Stanley - you're the greatest:
