You may have noticed this web page has been fairly static over the past
couple of years. Well....no excuse really. Anyway, am going to start
reloading photos of more recent family adventures. Will gradually build
this up, but for now we'll start with our skiing holiday in Feb. 2003.
We spent a week at Club Med Roi Soleil in St Moritz. It was pretty typical
club med stuff - food and accommodation pretty basic but the people and
organisation was fantastic. We all got out on the slopes and had a great
time. As you will see from the pictures the weather was brilliant. Minimums
of about -20, maximums of about -5, no clouds, no wind, perfect for skiing.
Following are some pictures
Views from our hotel room
Julia,
Andy and Jon skipped ski school one morning and goofed around amongst ourselves
Bernadette skipped ski school
one morning and wandered around St Moritz village (and never actually
returned to ski school)
Some nice 'views from
the piste' taken from various spots around Corviglia.
Bernadette took the cable car to take some shots from Piz Nair, one of the highest
stations in Corviglia (3057m). Jon's ski class skied from here on the same
day.
Here are some short mpeg movies of Julia and
Andy skiing. (they are small, but at least you
get a sense of what they are doing. They are both about a 350kb download)
That's about all I have for the
moment. More to come soon.
