Very nice web site, You have some great projects shown that are just absolutly beautiful. I really liked the mirror, jewelry box and the bud bottle.
I myself haven't got the hang of the lathe yet, though I have a very nice one. It just seems to elude me, so I mainly stick with the scroll saw projects and building cabinets.
Great web site,
I'll check back from time to time to see any updates.

Dan,
I enjoyed looking at your website. You've made a
lot more things than I have and you have better
equipment. My "shop" is in half of a one car
garage so you can imagine how much space I have.
Both my wife and I are interested in getting a
profitable craft business going so I am looking
at a lot of wooden toy designs and deciding what
our product line will be. My "shop" consists of
a 16" scroll saw, 8" drill press, 1-1/2 hp router
(all of these are Craftsman)and a cheapo table saw. I also have other power tools like a pad
sander and saber saw, etc.
By the way, I'm looking for non-toxic color wood
dyes and finishes that I can use on toys. Do you
know of any? Thanks. Good luck with your woodworking.

Cool site... I'll have to do something like this, in my spare time! The checkerboard table was my first project (last year), I made it for my daughter's 7th birthday out of maple and cherry blocks with a lacewood frame. It has a cherry base with tapered
legs and a single drawer (Shaker-style). I'm working on built-in cabinets with a desk area and bookshelves for her bedroom now; made from birch plywood with maple face frames and raised panel doors (learned everything I could from Norm). I'm also in the
process of finishing our basement and designing my workshop space. Time is a tough thing to balance - I can work on projects or building my shop. Good luck with your future projects!
Thanks

Nice site. I like the projects and the discussion of the workshop. I am relatively new to woodworking, but really enjoy it. I especially love working with a router. I am in the process of building raised-panel doors for the kitchen and eventually the
ntire house. I am also starting into furniture duplication and restoration, albeit the finishing aspect has me scared somewhat.
Great Site!

You have a very interesting site, I enjoyed it very much. I have a complete wood shop in my basement as well. I have all the machine tools and power tools to build anything (When Norm needs a tool he calls me, ha ha). But it took me a long time to build
my tool shop to the caliber I was looking for. If you want to chit chat please "E"-mail me and we can talk. You have a fine site and from the pictures you do very good work, keep it up.
