Some Descendants of Johann "John" Imholte
Johann "John" Imholte came from Germany to settle in Delhi Township, Cincinnati, Ohio. He was married to Caroline "Carrie" Reiberger. He was born in 1816 and died January 19, 1889. He is buried in the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church Cemetery. I am unsure of Caroline's deathdate. Her tombstone has been broken off of its base and is missing. I have had no luck in getting a reply from the church on the burial records.
John and Caroline had several children. (I'll update on them soon)
I descend from their son John C. Imholte who was born January 16, 1855 in Hamilton County, OH. He was a farmer by trade and married to Eleanora Eckstein on June 19, 1878 at St Peter in Chains Cathedral in Cincinnati, Ohio. Eleanora Eckstein was born in Germany, the daughter of Peter Eckstein. John and Eleanora are also buried in the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church Cemetery in Delhi Township, Cincinnati, OH. John died in 1931, and Eleanora died on May 30, 1942.
I then descend from John and Eleanora's son Conrad Martin Imholte who was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1885. He was a foreman for the Kahns Packing Company. He married to Bertha Wulfekamp, the daughter of Fred A. Wulfekamp and Emma Kist. Conrad died on October 27, 1959. Bertha died in the 1960's. Both are interred at the Hillside Chapel, Cincinnati Cremation Company.
