It is beautifully done and when I have more time, I intend to go back and read everything, just because it is so interesting. I will show it to my husband later because he has Sharps in his family.

I am researching yes. My Keagy family is from PA, to OH and to IN, Union City only a few miles from Hagarstown. I have Russell C. Keagy son of John Hamilton Keagy (there is a William name in there-he was called Bill, was wed to Mary Elizabeth Young wed a
t 1845 Gettysburg PA(had 12 kids). His father was Alex Keagy b. abt 1823-1827 PA, wife Catharine Cullins/Collins, had Arabella, Laura B. Eli W. Hamilton, John William Hamilton Keagy and young Catharine Keagy, Alex died 1863 Pittburgh Landing TN, lived in
H till the war. In an obit for his son, John, Alex was referred to as Abe and as the son of Abe Keagy. Can find no proof of who Alex Keagy's parents were. I have found that many of my Keagy's had four names. Some of the names are Robert, Hamilton, Russ
ll, John, William, Charles, Oscar, Eli, Alex, Leonard, thought we had a Henry. My John Keagy was a machinist, my grandfather Russel Clarence Keagy was a lumberjack and a farmer, people used to come for miles around to see his crops. Do you know any of y
ur Keagy's uncle's families, the names of their children perhaps? I have been working for some time with no advances. I just am not able to get my Alex connected with any Keagy in PA. Thank you so much for your time. I enjoyed your site and read much o
it. I keep coming across the Werking name. Oh yes and B. seemed to be a popular middle name and so was Hamilton. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing.

I like your site! I could not make any connections to my line on your niece's tree- I can't seem to get past my G-Grandfather. I enjoyed the photo gallery she set up- nicely done!

You wrote to me in November and my sister sent me a copy of the same letter sent to my father, George Kenneth Workinger (deceased 1988). I am also updating sources on my family, the one in Oregon. I will write as well.

I typed in my last name on a search engine just for kicks. And saw a hit for my recently deceased grandfather, John Kritsch. How amazing!
Comments:
I am impressed by your amount of info you have accumulated. I have just started my tree on my fathers side, Richard. Needing info. on the Workings from Indiana.

Hi Linda, Just visiting fellow EGCC friends who have web pages, and found yours! Having Hoosier roots myself, it's good to see the state basketball pride come out! Thank goodness you're a Cardinals fan and not one of those blasted IU Hoosier fans---YUCK
Being a Boiler alumni, I can live with the Muncie crowd, but not the Bloomington crowd--haha. Great site, by the way, I enjoyed it very much!

I'm still trying to put together my homepage & links. I really, really need someone to talk me
through this. I have many, many stories about my
ancestors and connected families that I've
accumulated since 1989 and have on my PAF program.
I want to make my information free to anyone
researching or wanting to know more about early
Texas history through the lives of my ancestors.
Please help.
I have an 800 # also if someone can talk me through. I will be out of town until Wednesday
July 1, 1998.
I do not know how to access my e-mail address on
geocities that is supposed to be faithtex@geocities.com

If you are looking for more info on Grinstead, Grindstead etc. You may want to look at derivatives of the name. Look for Grindstaff. The original German name was Crantzdorf. Just a thought...
