The Ashley Branch

The Ashley Branch is an OO scale model of a Great Western branchline. The model was built by Jonathan and shown publicly for the first time at Model Railex 2005, organised by a group of Wellington model railway clubs. This show was held at the NZ Kennel club building in Porirua.

The layout has a fiddle yard at the rear and trains enter from a tunnel in the centre of the layout into the first station. From the first station trains are directed back to the right to the terminus.
