Natalie Rose Mueller Chabot was born on June 12, 1961 in Giddings, Texas. She graduated from Cooper High School in Abilene, Texas.
In 1983, she graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, and later, continued her education, receiving her Master of Education Administration from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina.
Natalie's career path in education began in Charlotte, North Carolina as an elementary school art teacher, continued in Summerville, South Carolina, and culminated in Bastrop, where she began as a substitute teacher at Emile Elementary, then taught second grade, became the gifted and talented teacher, and was finally selected as assistant principal.
Natalie married John Chabot on December 22, 1984 in Charlotte, North Carolina. She and John moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 1985. She was truly blessed in 1988 with the birth of twin daughters, Carra Elizabeth and Lindsey Briand. The Chabots moved to Bastrop in 1991 and in 1997, opened Chabot's Italian Cafe.
Natalie's loves were her family, her career, cooking, playing dominoes, Jimmy Buffett's music, a good glass of wine with pate, antique bowls and rolling pins, talking on the telephone, Ralph and jazz, and gardening.
Natalie is survived by her husband of thirteen years, John; her precious daughters, Lindsey and Carra; father, Earl Mueller of Bastrop; mother, Barbara and Slick Johnson of Fredericksburg, grandmother, Maurine Wood of Abilene; brothers, Mike and Lori Mueller of Huntsville and Greg Mueller of Bastrop; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
