Henry O. Nash, bn TN? Has a habit of listing a different place on each census, but on government land application papers always listed Tennessee as birthplace. Born May 1827. Died in Independence CO AR after 1910. Burial place unknown but must be in Independence CO AR in unmarked grave. Civil War Confederate Soldier, enlisting in Drew CO AR.
Married 5 women.
#1 - Nancy HILL, bn TN, CA 1835, married in Tishomingo CO, MS, 22 June 1854; is listed on the 1860 Drew CO AR Mortality Schedule. She may have died following the birth of Nancy E. Nash listed below. Mortality Schedule does not list child birth as cause of her death.
#2 - Eddy (Edith) HILL Bush, sister to Nancy HILL. in Drew CO AR. 17 July 1859. Widow of Peter Bush.

Nancy E. NASH, bn, 1859-60, Drew CO AR (This child may be the daughter of Edith HILL Bush Nash; records unclear.) We do not know what happened to this child. If this is your line, please contact me. I'm just dying to meet you! :-)

3 - Margaret V. NASH bn 26 Jan 1868 Independence CO AR, d. 6 Dec. 1936, md James F. Garrett bn 22 Feb 1866. Both are buried in Egner Cemetery, Indep. CO AR.
4 - Ada C. NASH, bn Feb. 1871 Independence CO AR, md. Frank T. Trammel, bn Dec. 1865.

John M. Nash

John M. Nash, son of Henry O. and Nancy Hill Nash born in Tishomingo CO MS about 1854, moved to Drew CO AR and then to Independence CO AR with his father. Died 10 July 1942 at Desha, Independence CO AR and buried at Alderbrook Cemetery in Desha AR.
Married three women:
1st - Margaret Abigale FRENCH Flinn (widow of Jesse Flinn) 19 September 1875 in Independence CO AR. Margaret died 6 February 1916 and is buried in Independence CO, AR.
2nd - Mrs. Elizabeth Hawkins. (Eddie) on 7 July 1916.
3rd - Mrs. Rhody Douglas.
