Veterinary House Calls for Dogs and
Cats in Phoenix Metropolitan area of Arizona
There's no way around it: our pets need veterinary care now and then.
And with few exceptions, they hate to go to the vet! Save yourself
the time, trouble & anxiety of taking your pets to the vet, and let
a mobile veterinarian come to you.
My services include physical examinations, routine and preventive
healthcare, vaccinations, diagnostic laboratory testing, health
certificates, micro chipping, as well as gentle and compassionate home
euthanasia.
Beyond the basics, there are many common problems in veterinary
medicine that can be diagnosed and treated at home. Good examples of
this include: itching and scratching; problems with the eyes, ears or
skin; mild to moderate arthritis; minor wounds or lacerations.
During a house call, I may need to collect samples from your pet for
outside laboratory testing. Common tests include Complete Blood Count
& Blood Chemistry Panels, Heartworm Testing, Feline Viral Testing,
Urinalysis, Fecal Examination, Bacterial and Fungal Cultures.
No matter how much we'd like it, there are just some things that
can't be done in the home. For situations that require anesthesia,
dentistry, surgery or x-rays, I will transport your pet to my private,
in home veterinary clinic for the extra care they may need. My premise
is licensed and inspected by the Arizona State Veterinary Medical
Examining Board.
If you are interested in a house call for your dog or cat, or if you
have any questions, please call me at (623)979-8000 or send an email to
me at: DJMartinDVM@mobile-vetservice.com
Sincerely,
Daniel J Martin, DVM

Anything that can be done in an exam room
in a veterinary hospital can be done in the comfort of your home.
Advanced Home Care:
Sometimes, older and debilitated pets need frequent veterinary nursing
care: subcutaneous fluid administration, daily injections of insulin or
other drugs, regular blood monitoring, etc..
If you'd rather not transport your pet every time it needs treatment,
home visits can be a welcome relief!
