Girl Scout Sunday is March 7th and this marks the kickoff of Girl Scout Week. This is a time when Girl Scouts across the US remember the founder, Juliette "Daisy" Low, and the concepts and ideals that surround Girl Scouting.
On March 9th, 1999, at 6pm at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, Lawrence,
Jeni will receive the Girl Scout SILVER award, the highest award given to a Cadette Girl Scout.
Jeni's project for this award included working with the Lawrence Kennel Club and showing her own boxer, Willie, helping the local Humane Society and American Boxer Rescue to promote and educate responsible breeding practices and also to provide rehabilitation to two tiny puppies that were placed in her care.
