Windy City Elkhounds is dedicated to bettering the breed. With careful breeding we are well on our way. Windy City is home to many past breed greats such as father and son team SBIS Am/Can Ch. Windy City's Rambo "Bo", and Am/Can/Skc Ch. Windy City's Top Gun "Cruiser". In thier day they were both multiple group placing, and top 10 contenders. Bo became a SBIS winner at the age of 11 1/2 at the GMNEA specialty under breeder/judge Mr David Gleaves. We also have some new hopefuls that are winning thier share. "Joey", SBIS Ch. Windy City's Maximum Overdrive, is a group winner and placer, as well as a specialty winner. He has been in the top 10 for the last 3 years, and is continuing to make his mark on the show scene. Our dogs don't just excel in the show ring, but many also have obedience titles, canine good citizen titles and even herding titles.
