My name is William Altvater, I'm a 1st class firefighter and EMT.
I've been a volunteer for about 3 years and love nothing more than a good structure fire.
The Linton Township Fire Department is located in Pimento, Indiana.
The Cheif is William Nicoson he has been Chief for almost 30 years.
I can honestly say that he is a chief beyond all chiefs. He will put his life in danger before he risks the first man
He has a Masters degree in firefighting tactics.
In 1997 we have sined a contract for 28,000 minus the cost of insurance and the 2 hydrants in the township.
We are currently trying to get money from the build Indiana fund to purchase a new Pumper. Vern Tincher_(D) Representive for the 46th district has put us in for $50,000.
WE are looking into going to a fire district so that we don't have to go though this fight for the contract again.
We make around 110 runs a year.
