Forty 'til Five is home based in Pensacola, Florida. We are a six piece band with a large range of influences and styles that root themselves in Jazz and Rock, yet spread to farther horizons of Hip-Hop, Funk, and New Orleans Brass. We are still a young and growing band with high hopes and fierce determination. We have been together for a little over a year and have accomplished many goals. First we took home the title of "Best Amateur Band" on Springfests' (Pensacolas outdoor music festival) Discovery stage sponsored by Dollarhides music and Bucksnort Productions. Our Next performance we headlined with local legends; Woodenhorse, at a benefit concert for A.I.D.S. held in Pensacolas Bayfront Auditorium. The show was recorded live by Global Records and our song "Delta-9" was included in their compilation to support A.I.D.S. research. Next, we set our sights on the studio.

Our first album, "On Point", was completed in March of 1999 and was recorded by Kohl "the mix-master" Rabin. Forty exclusive copies will be sold at Springfest '99. Our album debut performance will be at Saturday, May 15 11:45 a.m. on the Miller Lite stage. A cut from this album will be included on the Springfest compilation CD to be sold locally at Circle K, Wal-mart, and Springfest.
