WELCOME!  This is a homepage that tells a lot about myself, my family, my likes, tastes, and hobbies. This page also has information (and pictures too!) of my beloved PETS!  

MY HISTORY & BELIEFS

    First of all, I was born way back in 1974 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin just before a major snow storm in January.  I was raised familiar with the beliefs of JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES, and am so very thankful for this!  

MY FAMILY

    I have three brothers that are all older than myself.  When I was only 2 years old, my oldest Brother Ken had gotten married to a woman who also was a Jehovah's Witness.  My second Brother, Don is married (to a very wonderful and kind woman who we really appreciate VERY much) and is living in Georgia, but he chose not to be a Jehovah's Witness.  Then my youngest Brother, Todd is only 14 years older than me, but we are the closest.  He always looked after me and made sure that I am always taken care of!  He is now married and living in El Paso, Texas. I now have a new sister-in-law (however she is more of a sister to me), a new nephew, 3 new neices and 2 new dog-in laws. I love them all very much!

INTERESTS

I love to do anything dealing with HORSES, mountain biking, tennis, hiking, rollerblading, volleyball, baseball, writing short stories, poems, drawing, painting and pretty much anything doing with art.  Occasionally I go fishing, but I ONLY catch and release...I fish to get out and enjoy the weather, to enjoy the peace and quiet, to admire the beauty of the surroundings and to get a little tan. I love ALL outdoor activities, and just being outside!

OTHER INTERESTS & HOBBIES

I also love music which includes rock, country, alternative, new jazz, nature sounds, r&b and some classical music.  I have a VERY open mind when listening to different groups or types of music. I listen to pretty much everything and I've seen a wide variety of musical concerts. The most legenadry concert I saw was ERIC CLAPTON, and the most exciting of all the concerts was the 1980's big hair, glam band POISON. Me and my friend went to the Minnesota State Fair (in St. Paul), to see them play. It was totally well worth the money, time and getting lost trying to find the place. The highlight of that concert was knowing that guitarist C.C. DeVille, was back with the band, and we got to see him...he made the concert! I hope he will remain with Poison always, he definitely has a musical styling all his own. My favorite country singer of all is GEORGE STRAIT. I was an 80's child, but besides the 1980's big hair hard rock band, my other favorite kind of music is classic rock, such as LYNYRD SKYNYRD, the EAGLES, LED ZEPPLIN and VAN HALEN. The BEST EVER concert I've attended yet was BON JOVI at the Excel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.

BREYER MODEL HORSE COLLECTING

I have been collecting BREYER model horses for many years, from my early childhood. Now I am starting to collect PETER STONE model horses, which are truely beautiful horses. I am still an active collector, although I must scale down, because my apartment is small...I always have models for sale. This is not to say that I do not buy any more models...I do. But I also have MANY...including discontinued models for sale as well. If you would like to see my sale list, PLEASE e-mail me. HAPPY HORSIE COLLECTING to all model horse collectors who read this!

PETS & ANIMALS

I LOVE ALL ANIMALS, but still have my favorites, such as HORSES, CATS (both domestic and non-domestic). I REALLY love TIGERS, and there is a GREAT web-site of a local man who has several tigers...it is called the TIGER ZONE  My love for large cats can be noticed by a few links further on in my homepage. Tigers are my favorite of the large non-domestic cats and to be more specific the Siberian Tiger. I was owned by a very dominating, and beautiful cat that is going on 15 years of age, when I had to lovingly put her to sleep. She was suffering greatly, but I have wonderful memories of her. Her name was NOVIA and I still love my sweetheart!

   

Several months before I had to put my beloved Novia to sleep, my husband's little brother found this little kitten (only 3 weeks old), lost outside. She stole my heart, and she still has it. Her name is Maisey, but we all call her Baby, because she was such a cute little baby. I love her dearly!

HORSES and EQUINE EVENTS

I really love all breeds of horses like: the ARABIAN, APPALOOSA (of course) the AMERICAN PAINT HORSE and the AMERICAN QUARTER HORSE as well as a few of the legendary horses of all time. Horses such as: Big Ben, Gem Twist, *Pardon, Bask++, Khemosabi++, Comet, *Raffles, Cass Ole, Phar-Lap, Secretariat and Man 'O War. Some of the Equine events I really can get INTO include: Barrel Racing, Cutting, Reining and Team Roping (all roping events)
