THE THOMAS FAMILY 1870 John Thomas is listed as school master on his marriage record. 1880 US Census lists John H. THOMAS as a laborer. John's eldest son, William Richard Thomas was born August 13, 1875 in Dauphin County, PA. Moved to Scranton PA and married Jennie Jane SOULSBY on March 24, 1897. They had the following children Robert William Thomas and Ethel Thomas. 1880 Federal Census for Williams, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania John H. THOMAS head age 42 laborer born in Wales parents born in Wales Elizabeth THOMAS Wife age 31 house keeper born in PA William R. THOMAS Son age 4 born in PA Hubert G. THOMAS Son age 2 born in PA John L. THOMAS Son age 7M born in PA Elizabeth DAVIS Other age 12 born in PA Servant ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Robert William Thomas married Christine Gardner. Christine Thomas remarried after her husband,Robert passed on. She married Albert J. Tuttle. I found the grave of my great uncle William at the Moscow Cemetery in Moscow, PA. The graves of Christine and her second husband are clearly marked with grave stones. William is burried to the opposite side of Tuttle with no grave marker. Christine in the middle.
