CB men leaving for the Spanish American War
Get your own Free Home PageA Washington dispatch says that congress has passed the formal declaration of war against Spain and that President McKinley has signed it.
Company L or the Dodge Light Guards left early this morning for "Camp McKinley" at Des Moines. Orders to move were received last night. They left on the 7:45 Rock Island and arrived in Des Moines at 1 o'clock in the afternoon.
