CB men leaving for the Spanish American War

A Washington dispatch says that congress has passed the formal declaration of war against Spain and that President McKinley has signed it.

Company L or the Dodge Light Guards left early this morning for "Camp McKinley" at Des Moines. Orders to move were received last night. They left on the 7:45 Rock Island and arrived in Des Moines at 1 o'clock in the afternoon.
