Five Sons of James Harlow Robertson & Manerva Swinney Robertson

Christopher Henry, William Bonds, Burkett Swinney, James Wiley, and Nathaniel Whitfield

All children were born in old Tishomingo County, Mississippi. Of the five sons, William Bonds remained in Booneville, Prentiss County, Mississippi, and the other four eventually moved to Wise County, Texas. Christopher Henry stayed at Decatur, Wise County, Texas. About 1901, James Wiley, Burkett Swinney, and Nathanaiel Whitfield went to old Greer County, Oklahoma Territory. James Wiley first went to Willow, just north of Mangum, then settled at Vinson, while Burkett Swinney and Nathaniel Whitfield settled at Reed.

The five brothers had three sisters. Sophira Temperance A., and Mary T. were older and their baby sister was Fannie.
