wife Mary # W20160, CT line,soldier lived in Killingworth , CT at enlistment, soldier applied September 11, 1832 Susquehanna Co., Pa, soldier married Mary Graves November 23, 1778 at North Killingworth, CT, soldier died October 27, 1835 in Cattaraugus Co.,NY, widow applied September 18, 1845 at Eagle, Allegany Co., NYaged 87 years, children were: Phebe born April 12,1779, Lois born September 2, 1781, Molley born March 3, 1784, Garner born August 27, 1786, Keziah born July 6, 1788, Luci ( Levi ) Harskell ( Haskell ) born May 6, 1791, Zibe Loveman born November 28, 1793, died October 8, 1805, Harriet born January 26, 1796, Delania born June 3, 1798, Dianthy born November 15, 1800, name nearly illegible but was possibly Dixon Derby born May 21, 1803,and January ? ( Zuriah Jonas, called Zurry) born September 10, 1805, in 1855 Clara Cook was referred to as child of Garner Isbell the Rev War soldier but she was not shown in the birth records but one P.H.Jones of Ellicottville in Cattaraugus Co. made a request for her in 1855, the above noted Luci may have been Levi but not Clara and the name that was nearly illigible would not have been Clara.

JOEL ISBELL

Wife Mary #5500, CT line,soldier was born in March of 1755 or 56, he enlisted at Killingworth in Middlesex Co., and in 1793 he moved to Whitestown, NY near Utica, NY for 5 years then he moved to East Bloomfield, NY for 5 years then he moved to Clarence,NY for 12 years then to Plain Township, Ohio then to Mohican Township in Wayne Co., Ohio and he applied there November 20, 1818 and in June 1836 soldier moved to Monroe Co., Michigan, soldier had married at New Cannan, NY January 30, 1793 to Mary Chatfield of West Stockbridge, Mass. and in 1820 soldier gave her age as 50 years however when she applied in August 1839 in Monroe Co., Michigan she gave her age as 65 on July 16, 1839, in 1820 soldier had children at home , to wit, Heman Swift Isbell age 18 , Naomy age 15, Albert age 13, Joel age 10, Myron age 8, Mary age 5, also a son Charles of Raisinville, Michigan and a som James of Raisinville, in 1839 widow was living with a son Myron in Raisinville, MI, soldier died September 17, 1838 at the home of his son James in Raisinville, soldiers brother Lyman had served in Rev War and in 1819 lived in Medina Co, Ohio .
