Eleazer Isbell, son of Robert and Miriam Isbell, born January 6, 1747-8, served in the French and Indian War under Capt. Andrew Ward's 14th, Company of Col. Phineas Lyman's Regt, serving 35 weeks and 5 days from date of enlistment on March 29, 17_ . This company served under the command of Lt. Col. Nathan Whiting and it's officers from the shores of Guilford, Killingworth and Lyme.
Israel Isbell, son of Eleazer and Elizabeth (Bishop) Isbell born April 24, 1744, served in the French and Indian War, was a private in Ichabod Scranton's 5 th, Company of Col. Nathan Whiting's 2nd Regt.in the Campaign of 1760, served from April 22 to September 28, 1760 at which time he is reported as dead.
Peruda Isbell, son of Eleazer and Elizabeth (Bishop) Isbell born August 3, 1733 served in the French and Indian War, private in Capt. Benjamin Hinman's 6th, Company of Col. Elezur Goodrich's 2nd Regt. from April 21 to November 30, 17_, later appears as a drummer for Maj. Benjamin Hinman's 3rd, Company of Col. Andrew Ward's 4th Regt.in the campaign of 1757, serving from April 8 to December 16 of that year, appears again in 1757 under Capt. John Marsh's Miltaria Co. of Col. Ebenezer Marsh's Regt. at the time of alarm for the relief of Fort William Henry.
