We've incorporated many traditions into our wedding celebration. Some of these go back hundreds of years and are an integral part of the marriage ceremony. Some, however, are ideas we've borrowed from weddings of our friends. For example, when Eric Simon got married a few years ago, he and his wife had trading cards (like baseball cards) printed that featured "fun facts" about the bride and groom. We have decided to create our own trading cards to pass out at the wedding and to send to people unable to attend.

The front of this card features a picture that was
taken on Jeanne's mom's front porch, just a few months
before our wedding.

The first card is the rarer of the two in our set. Only two hundred
of these cards exist. They were given to attendees of the Saturday Night
Ceilidh, and have become hot collector's items.

This picture was taken at a restaurant in Philadelphia, the night Jon
gave Jeanne the engagement ring. The people at the table next to us had
a camera, and were nice enough to capture the moment and send us the photo.

The second card in the set was limited to 500 copies. All wedding
guests received one of these cards, and some also were sent to people
who could not make it to our wedding celebration. If you have the complete
set of our trading cards, then hold on to them. These limited editions
may someday be worth millions.
