Welcome to the Pesko home page!!
This site starts with Mike and Dorothy(Mosher) Pesko. Mike was born to Fred and
Anna (Shemashko) Peshkur (TTeuckyr -pronounced PeshKur in Russian),
who met in Chicago (Fred emigrated to Chicago from Russia).
Eventually they moved to St. Joseph Michigan, where he met Dorothy.
Mike was born in Chicago on January 23, 1914 and baptised on January 31, 1914 at
Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox/Greek Catholic Cathedral, 1121 N. Leavitt.
The Priest was Alexander Kukulevsky. Antony Kubernatsky, Godfather and Mary Shavrova, Godmother.

Dorothy was born to David and Hazel (Austin) Mosher. Hazel lived in Illinois and was Scottish/Irish. David was German
and they lived near Sandwich, Illinois. They eventually moved to St. Joseph, MI where Dorothy was born.

Mike and Dorothy lived on Michigan Avenue in St.Joseph where they had three sons:

Larry Pesko
George Pesko
David Pesko

The two of the three sons spread out over the country. Eldest, Larry, lives in New York, George lives in Texas and David still lives in Michigan. Dorothy now spends time with George and Carlene in Dallas over winter and with David and Doris in summer.
