This will be the last page of Norma's Place

Norma lost the fight against cancer 07-24-2003 and was taken from us to a better place to be blessed by all things promised by our Lord.

She was a delightful, chatty lady who had many, many friends and always had the time to pray for another.  She was warm, sincere and lived life well.

We say good-bye to Norma today;  she fought hard to stay with us but the good Lord has taken her to rest from the battle and reside in the kingdom He has created for us.

God grant you peace, dear Norma,

Norma's friends.

Playing "Ivory Palaces"

Ivory Palaces

My Lord has garments so wondrous fine,
And myrrh their texture fills.
It's fragrance reached to this heart of mine
With joy my being thrills.

Out of the ivory palaces,
Into a world of woe,
Only His great eternal love
Made my Savior go.

His life had also it's sorrows sore,
For aloes had a part;
And when I think of the cross He bore,
My eyes with teardrops start.

Out of the ivory palaces,
Into a world of woe,
Only His great eternal love
Made my Savior go.

His garments too were in cassia dipped,
With healing in a touch.
Each time my feet in some sin have slipped,
He took me from its clutch.

Out of the ivory palaces,
Into a world of woe,
Only His great eternal love
Made my Savior go.

In garments glorious He will come,
To open wide the door.
And I shall enter my heavenly home,
To dwell forevermore.

Out of the ivory palaces,
Into a world of woe,
Only His great eternal love
Made my Savior go.
