This page is being put up with the hope that it will be a reminder to every American that God gave us this beautiful FREE country called America, our home.
 

Presently our country is in a great turmoil; we need to pray UNCEASINGLY that God will guide our governmental leaders, teachers, religious leaders, and us as parents....the atrocities that are being committed are appalling and only with the help of Our Heavenly Father can we again become the great country we once were. Moral decay is present in all walks of life, we MUST start a movement to get God back in everything that is done.

Below is something I'd like to share with you. It speaks for itself. Did these great statesmen suffer and die in vain?

Have you ever wondered what happened to the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence?  Five signers were captured by the British as traitors, and tortured before they died.  Two lost their sons serving in the Revolutionary War, another had two sons captured. Nine of the 56 died from wounds or hardships of the Revolutionary War.  Twenty four of these men were lawyers and jurists, eleven were merchants, nine were farmers and plantation owners, but they signed the Declaration of Independence knowing that the penalty would be death if they were captured.  These were not wild eyed, rabble-rousing ruffians. They were soft spoken men of means and education. They had security, but they valued liberty more.  They gave you and me a free and independent America. We didn't just fight the British, we were British subjects and we fought our own government! Some of us take these liberties for granted...we shouldn't.

Silently thank these brave men ; it's not much to ask for the price they paid...let's all remember that freedom is NEVER FREE!!
