Here is more than you will ever
want to know about me...
I may not be rich or famous...But at least I have good credit :-)
My main hobby for the past few years has been the creation
of web pages. I create them for myself and for friends for the
sheer enjoyment of it. Of course, this also means that I can
rarely make up my mind how I want my site to look, and therefore
I am constantely changing and redesigning it.
Other hobbies of mine are collecting crystal, animated movies and just
about anything to do with Christmas (even though I need more Christmas
decorations like I need a hole in my head), and I like to chat
and make friends with people from all over the world. I also
like to watch just about any catagory of movies, especially
comedies, dramas and musicals. If I was
indepently wealthy I would spend a lot more time traveling around than what I get to do now, and I would especially like to go on a tour trip to both Ireland (to see the Waterford crystal factory) and down to the New Zealand and Australian part of the world (just because I have always wanted to since I was a child).
My favorite kind of music is mainstream pop, especially
stuff from the 80's, but I like some
songs from the 50's as well. Don't even think of trying to make
me listen to that horrible CRAP "music" they call Rap. I like to
listen to a wide variety of music ranging from a little bit of
Aerosmith, Journey and Janet Jackson, to Elton John, The
Backstreet Boys, Mariah Carey and Neil Diamond.
I like Italian and Chinese food the best for going out to dinner, but at home I stick to just basic stuff, although I am not
terribly fond of vegetables, and I will never willing eat peas
unless they are cleverly disguised inside something and I can't
taste them. My cat on the other hand will eat anything I put in front of her, and her favorite food is pizza.
I work for the largest financial printer in the world in
their Desktop department here in Arizona. We handle the printing
of the financial documents and electronic filing to the
Securities Exchange Commission for many companies on the stock
exchange. We do not print money as some people assume. We print
material such as shareholder reports and voter's proxy cards.
My responsibility is to check over all of the work that comes into department during my shift and make sure that we have all of the information we need to do the job. If any information is lacking, then I am the person who calls the customer service representative at the office who sent in the job and get the rest of the information. I am also responsible for checking over all of the completed work to make sure that everything was done correctly and then printing back the proof copies to the orginating site. Because of all of this, I get to call our offices not only all over the United States, but also all over the world such as to London and Hong Kong, and get to know many different people from all over the world. I love my job and the people I work with, which makes me very fortunate indeed, and I do not take this for granted.
Other than that I live a rather boring existance compaired to
most people, and my life is controlled to a great extent by my
very spoiled, but very lovable and funny cat who is my best buddy :)
