A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR:

"I have a place where dreams are born and time is never planned - it's not on any chart, you must find it in your heart...never, never land"

In these troubled times we need a little fantasy. The story of Peter Pan calls out to children and adults alike - to the dreamer in all of us. Who is this boy called Peter Pan? J. M. Barrie himself made a most revealing comment on the character of Peter in a program note for the Paris production in 1908: "...perhaps he was a little boy who died young and this is how the author conceived his subsequent adventures. Perhaps he was a boy who was never born at all - a boy whom some people longed for but who never came. It may be that those people hear him at the window more clearly than children do." Are we afraid, like Peter, of growing up into a life of conformity and dare to risk being marooned forever in Neverland? The author touches on such a dilemma in this fantasy. So come with us, if only for a few hours, to a place where hope abounds, you are forever young, life is one great adventure, there is coffeecake and ice cream for breakfast, good always triumphs over evil, and we all live Happily Ever After...
