Welcome to our Sanctuary

There is a sign in front of our home that only children and animals can see that welcomes them into our safe haven.   We live in Southern Louisiana.  Our lives are shared with many pets and two children of our own and many neighborhood children and stray pets that wander in from time to time.

The current 'permanent' residents include

Ray.......loving Daddy to all and general all around handy man Christy......Mommy, chew-toy for canines, chief cook and dog washer Brittany.....11 year old daughter and doggy playmate                     (also known for sneaking food under the table to pets during meals) David....2 year old son and way-to-smart-for-his-own-good Pictures of the humans will occasionally show up when accompanied by animal members of the family.

Tiger......the actual commander-in-chief and 'top dog' of our home          Tiger is a grey tabby striped cat of mixed lineage. This is the only cute picture that Tiger has ever allowed.  That is why she does not have a page of her own.
