Comments: I am researching the Mellenthin family line, from Spencer Wisconsin. Martha M. Mellenthin, my grandmother, married to Ferdinand Schwantes, 14 Nov 1901, Spencer. Ernstine Wilhelmina Mellenthin, married to Ferdinand's half brother, Johann Wilhelm, Oct 18, 1880, Brighton Township, Marathon Co. Would be interested in learning of any information you may have on the Mellenthin family. I understand, through my Schwantes cousins, that there is a Mellenthin family reunion on occasion. Comments: I am also related to one of the many Williams! It has been a popular name with the Longmires.. My Great grandfather was William G. and his father was also a William. William G. Longmire came to Lockwood, California in 1887 and the family is still here.. Thank you for your tour of your side of the Longmire family.
