Susan has been working with Contemplative Outreach of St. Louis since 1990, when she served as a volunteer to complete a practicum for certification as a Pastoral Minister. In 1994, she was appointed Coordinator and served in that capacity through 1998. She continues to serve as a Presenter for the St. Louis chapter.

As a member of the National Faculty, she chairs the Coordinator Communication Committee. This national level, newly formed committee will provide communication, networking, mentoring and support to Coordinators engaged in Contemplative Outreach service throughout the world. This committee will also support Coordinators in their personal leadership role and in the growth and development of their respective chapters.
