Saving homeless Dobermans one at a time.

Would you like to add a WONDERFUL family Doberman to your life? We have many GREAT Dobermans available for adoption.

The Doberman Pinscher Rescue of E NC, Inc. is a non profit organization that is dedicated to saving the lives of Dobermans.

All Dobermans are spayed/neutered, have all vaccinations, have been dewormed, are current on Heartworm Prevention, are micro chipped for lifetime ID and have been evaluated for temperment. We encourage our adopters to enroll in an obedience class, and provide a FREE 8 week session with our certified Dog Obedience Instructor

Dobermans available for adoption from DPR of ENC, Inc. are wonderfully sweet dogs who have found themselves displaced from their previous home. Most Dobermans are turned in due to divorce or due to a Military home moving.

Won't you SAVE a life...and adopt a Doberman?

DOBERMANS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION as of 7-1-99
FRANKIE
BLACK male about 6 months old. Natural ears, docked. SWEET and loving. Good with dogs, kids and LOVES PEOPLE. He is crate trained and well mannered. Frankie is a real velcro Dobe, who LOVES people. He is very good with children, and loves to play ball. He is a really wonderful puppy. He is a submissive boy, and very soft mannered. He has some submissive urination, but is gaining self confidence everyday. He is going to make someone an excellent velco DOBE!
FONZIE
BLACK male about 8 months old. Docked and cropped. VERY HANDSOME. Sweet and puppyish. Very playful. Loving, and good with kids. Fonzie was raised in an outdoor pen, from the age of 8 weeks. He is just starting to realize the world has so much to see and do. He is learning new things, apparently he hasn't been taught much, but we're working on that. He is a fast learner. He will make a great companion for someone who wants to mold and teach him things. Fonzie has a habit of jumping on people (a learned behavior from having to jump on his pen to get attention from his previous *owner*). He will make someone a very happy and loving companion.
SCARLETT
RED female about 2-3 years old. Natural ears, docked. Cratetrained and well mannered. VERY sweet and loving. Great with kids and other dogs. Housebroken. An EXCEPTIONALLY EASYGOING DOG. SHE is no maintenance, and is ready to be a part of someones family. She loves DOGS, KIDS, CATS, and is just very well behaved. Scarlett was in a severely abusive situation and has lost all her top and bottom front teeth. She wore them down trying to chew her way out of where she was. She has PERFECT molars, and doesn't have the slightest problem chewing her hard kibble. She is an absolute doll.
NO NAME
No Name is a male BLACK about 3 years old.Cropped and Docked. No Name is a WONDERFULLY SWEET and well mannered dog.

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous he will not bite you. That's the principal difference between a dog and a man. -Mark Twain

Now that I'm home, bathed, settled down and fed,
Now that I'm tucked warm in my new bed,
There is so much to carry,
so much to regret,
Hmmm....yes there it is, right on top,
let's unpack Loneliness, Heartache and Loss,
And there by my leash hides fear and shame,
As I look on these things I tried so hard to leave,
But I wasn't good enough, they didn't want me,
Will you add to my baggage?,
Will you help me unpack?,
Or will you just look at my things,
And take me right back?
Do you have time to help me unpack?,
To put away all baggage and NEVER repack,
But, I DO come with baggage,
Will you want me?
