Tet Trung Thu 2001
First activities between 6:30PM-7PM were different games such as Walking-in-Circle , Football Throwing or Soft Dart. The winners would gather together to show off their prizes.
Then MC Thong Nguyen and Michelle MyDung Pham, VNTI Chairperson, started the program with a minute of silence to pray for the victims of the 9/11 Tragedy. Afterward, one of the VNTI volunteers from The Vietnamese Culture and Science Association of DFW explained why we had Children's Festival, also called Mid-Autumn Festival (based on Lunar year).

Ai Linh sang America the Beautiful and performed the ribbon dance. There were also several dances performed by the Truong Son Scouts.
