Purpose
Phillip Ballance Thatch, Jr. and wife, Margaret Ellis, are documenting ancestors, descendants, and associated families. Our perspective includes our own surname lineage as well as associated surnames. Our "larger family" is principally of eastern North Carolina and Virginia origin and current information dates to the early 1600's.

We are seeking additional ancestral information and associations and will gladly share information upon request.
