This is my corner...my greatest pleasures are being a wife and mom. Life is good. I spend my spare time writing poetry, which there doesn't seem to be much of now a days. So enjoy my corner, and come again.

Me & baby Ceili

Baby nuzzling me awake,              opened mouth, closed eyes,              my day begins.              I emerge from the shower              to the sound of Ska music              to find my husband and daughter              dancing.              I wonder              how I ever survived              without these three people.              "Happy Mothers Day"              my husband smiles              my daughter runs to me              arms in the air              my baby boy coo's from his swing,              who knew he liked Ska music too?              I have to smile.              This is not a Kodak moment.              It is mine.              Pd Lawrence 1998
