I myself was diagnose two years ago with schizophrenia but with prays from our cell group and family and by the grace of GOD, today i can say i'm healed It is like the devil has place a curse on our family. My cousin is suffering of epelepsy. My one cousin is diagnose as paraniod schizophrenia. My other cousin has also spend time in a mental instituition. His brother was so sick that he committed suicide My brother in this year suffered from major depression. As you can see i'm not lying to you it is as if some curse is hanging over our family. Daily i pray that GOD would break this curse and stop it now, that it doesn't continue into the younger generat on. I pray for GOD's intervention - JESUS name. GOD bless. |

Due to this problems our finances are greatly affected due to the bills. Pls. pray that we may be able to pay this month's rent. Pray for encouragement and hope as I am losing it right now. I have been told by the dr. that it was insite which is the good news. I will have to return to have a follow up procedure, but he has assured me that I should have 10 % recovery. However the term Melanoma speaks for itself. Please Pray that my body will make complete recovery, as I feel the Lord is giving me a second chance on life. Now I must figure out what he wants me to do with it. I know beyond a shadow of a d ubt God hears and answers the prayers of his people. God bless each one of you!! |

My brother Wai and his wife also need the guidance of Lord to know Jesus and do right: now, they have bought a new house and have a Church near them, please pray for their future and a good job to know Jesus in suitable time, for now my brother works n the night! 4. my grandmother now is in a senile dementia and have tumor which doctor don't want to do anything (I pray for how to guide her to confess Jesus is Lord): now, there's a pastor near the house of old, agreed to remember her and her family in her prayer! lease pray for the salvation and blessing on the member of this house of old ! 5. My father has a hypertension, my mother is in an emotional weakness: now, there's a breast cancer of my mother, she discovered that early, so only on 1st stage, need to be chemotherapy four times! Thanks for the peace to my mother after the operation f single-breastectomy. I was so sad in these situation, but she came to encourage me more brave on my future. She become more self-control and try to be release and eager to live in attempt. Thanks also for my father now in good health, and had to encoura e me to work in Church. 6. I feel that i have God call to serve him somehow. I also have prayed wife on myself, since i gave my life to Jesus. Now 8 years i have prayed, but i don't have answer yet. I have sometimes difficulties with my physical and emotional feelings. I know, that i'm not a handsome man and normally i feel, i don't have a change to get a wife. But i still believe, that Lord can do i miracle in my life. Now i ask you to pray ,that Lord could give me a better appearance, or give me a woman, that can accept me. On my own church, there is no many free woman at my age and they a don't like me. Some of them even keep company with unbelievers. I also have tried to find girlfriend with a one Christian radio program, and one Christian newspaper in here Finland, but no positive result. Pray that God could help me with this subject. --Jari |

A few weeks later I told her how I felt, she confirmed it by saying God spoke to her and tol her I was to be her husband. We went on we told each other we love one another, we even sowed into our ministry. A few months latter we started having a few problems... But that's to be expected, well a few weeks ago she told me she did not feel like i was God's will any more for us to be husband and wife. I need prayer just to make sure this is God's will, because I will stand and continue to pray and believe God for the restoration of our relationship. I still believe, but I guess I just need more onformation, and if it's His will (I still think it is) that she will have a change of heart. Thanks Ron |

He is now visiting the girls and being kind to me for the first time in 9 months. Please pray for a ealing in his life, he is fairly shut down as far as we are concerned and not making any steps to discuss our relationship, I have tried. (His family is non-communicative and sweeps everything under the rug.) or admit responsibility for his treatment of u . He is however inviting me to dinner with the children, gave me a loving anniversary card... He needs boldness and increased self esteem. August 1999 Dear Prayer Warriors, A few years back I made the mistake of turning my heart, my life, and my focus away from God. As a result my life and the lives of my wife and step-daughter have been destroyed. One by one all of the blessings that God had graciously given me were taken away until finally I lost my wife and step-daughter, and then I crept away in the middle of the night and tried to kill myself. I am alive today because Christian loved ones that had witnessed from the outside what was going on in my life had faith in prayer. They contacted other Christians, who contacted other Christians, and so on; and they all turned their hearts to God to pray for me. Those prayers were heard, and as a result God set forth a strange pattern of events that led my father to find me before I bled to death. I have since rededicated my life to God, and have chosen to follow what ever path God has set before me. I now in turn am trying to contact as many congregations and Christian individuals as I can to ask you to take a prayer request of mine to heart and join me by laying it before the feet of God in prayer. I am asking that you pray for God to give me another chance with my wife and step-daughter, and for Him to give me the strength and wisdom I need to be a good Christian husband and father. It is a request that I do not deserve. I have put my wife through more than enough pain and heartache to justify her leaving and filing for divorce. However, I also know this, back when we got married I layed my love and my vows before God; and, although I have been a bad husband, I have always loved her and been faithful to her. I do not believe that our divorce is something God truly wants for us. I have had many people tell me that they would not pray specifically for this, but instead they would pray for what ever path God has chosen for us to be followed. That is an honourable prayer, but before you do the same I would like you to consider the following things. First, the Bible is filled with examples of faithful Christians turning to God to pray for specific requests. Secondly, often times the result of those answered prayers is a witness of Christ to non believers, a witness of the power of prayer to Christians who doubt that God answers prayer, and a strengthening of Christian bonds between believers. In this case the result could very well be the witness of Christ to a non believer, my wife. I believe that sometimes the accomplishment of these things is what God sets before us as our chosen path. Why else would God give us the promises of answered prayer when “two or more people come together in prayer before Him”. When we take the promises and gifts that God has given to us, and faithfully use them with respect and faith it honours and glorifies Him. I believe in the power of prayer. In this time she told me that she wanted to get closer to God and that I was a good influence on her. Well, out of the blue about a month ago she decides that she doesn't know "who she is or what sh wants out of life" and we decide to give each other some space. Well, she starts calling me again almost immediately still telling me she loves me, but saying the she wants to be "exclusive, but not serious" She said that she knows that she is being self sh, but that she wants to be selfish right now because she has never done anything just for herself before. Well, what she has been doing is going out to all types of nightclubs with her friends who get drunk almost everytime they are there and usually tr and hook up with other people there. She would tell me how she wasn't interested in any other people and that she doesn't drink when she goes there, but regardless I told her that you are influenced by who you choose to hang around with. Three days after we had separated she found out she has cancerous cells in her bloodstream making it the 3rd time shes had cancer and she's only 21 (I am 24). I love this girl with all my heart, but on Friday I finally had to end everything because her words weren't match ng her actions and it was tearing up my relationship with God because I found myself spending so much time trying to make her still like me than being a Godly man. I am so torn apart right now because I do love her and want to be with her (I told her this the day I said goodbye), but her actions aren't consistent with her words and I know that only God can change her, not me. Please pray that God will move in her life and that I will just continue to seek God and experience his love and peace. Yes, I would be lying if I said I didn't want this to somehow work out to where we ended up together because I do honestly love her, but I know God has to be first in both our lives before that could ever happen. Well guys, last night I ended up going out with a friend of mine to a country and western dance club because I want to be around people badly. (I feel like a huge hypocrite because of this). Anyhow, while out with my friend dancing he wondered off for a second and as I finally found him he told me that he saw my ex-girlfriend there at the club. Well, at first I thought he was playing some kind of joke on me, but he assured me that he was not. Well at this point my heart is about halfway up my throat be ause I feel compelled to go talk to her. Well I did go over to where she was at with a girlfriend of hers and tapped her on the arm and said 'Hey Danielle, how's it going?' She proceeded to look at me for a brief second and just turn back to her friend nd laugh and giggle like I wasn't even there. After this happened I could tell that she was going to be cold to me and I said, "It was good to see you Danielle". She looked at me and waved quickly and proceeded to blow me off again. I am so hurt by thi because I haven't attacked her at all and after 10 months I would have thought that she couldn't just shrug me off so easily like I don't mean a thing to her. As I was walked away my friend started talking to some friends of his and I stopped to wait fo him to finish. Well, I look up at where my girlfriend was a saw her look to where I was at and then glance away quickly when she saw that I was looking. Guys, this is killing me! I don't understand how someone that I never ever tried to hurt even when she told me she didn't want a relationship could want to hurt me so bad. Can someone really just turn their feelings off that easily? My mind is wondering in a million different directions because I don't understand why all this is happening. This is t e first relationship in which I know without a doubt I gave everything I had and it seems like me being a nice guy has caused more pain and suffering than when I was not living in a Christian way. My boyfriend, Rob, of 21 months recently told me he wanted to be alone. I prayed for 10 days s raight, with periods of fasting, for God to show me His will, and I believe He has. Rob has been rather far away from God for about a month now. He's definitely "living in the world", and not under God's love. He was saved 7 years ago. I am a "new" Ch istian of only 6 months. I believe God has showed me not to give up on Rob, and to continue to pray and fast not only for our relationship, but more so for Rob's return to God, and for God's will. Please pray; I need all the help I can get. Rob has become a completely different person. He has received an amazing calling from God for music ministry, and has turned away. I had passed all my papers in my second year except for the last paper which is called Data Structu es, Databases and 4GL's. After failing it last year, I had a resit paper for that subject which I failed too. Now I have to attend classes again for this particular subject and my exams will be during the beginning of April 1999. This subject, Data St uctures, requires understanding of concepts and then implementing this concepts into C Programming. My problem is that I'm finding it so difficult to understand these concepts, and my programming is so utterly terrible. The fact that my programming is so bad, gives me no confidence to do anything. I'm afraid to go to work in the computer line one day because of my bad skills in programming. I'm very, very, very much afraid. There are so many times that my sadness and my lack of confidence prevents m from having the courage to open my books. Sometimes, I'm so sad and put-off, that I just can't study and nothing goes into my head at all. I don't know who to turn to, I don't know who will help me, and I don't know how to pass my exams and become be ter in my programming. Please pray for me, for I truly need you prayers. Please pray for my subject, to be able to understand it and to be able to pass the exam and also to be able to have the understanding and depth needed to be able to become a good rogrammer. You see, my subject requires me to understand the concepts and then to implement it in C Programming. But my mind is totally blank that I can't understand anything. I open my book and I don't know where to start, what to read, where am I headin towards, where can I get help, I'm totally blank. I have to write programs on the concepts that I've studied, but my mind is so blank that I can't think of where to start and how to write a program. I'm very afraid. Please pray for me. |

WPRJ is a Contemporary Christian formatted radio station located in Coleman, Michigan. We have been on the air for six years now. GOD has done many great things and we have no doubt at the many things GOD has planned for 1999. We have many challenges ahea of us! This year we need to replace our station automation system (among the many big projects ahead of us..)This is a very costly project, between 30 and 40k. There are many reasons to replace the system, a few of them include: 1. Our current system is not Y2K compliant which will cause us technical and operational problems. 2. Our current system cannot import music or traffic logs so I have to spend a lot of time manually entering them. 3. Our current system is very limited and we have outgrown its capabilities. This is preventing WPRJ from producing the kind of air product that we want. 4. The existing system does not allow us to record network feeds and play them back later. This is costing us money in wasted payroll and inefficient resource use. Over the last several weeks I have done extensive research for a new system. This coming Tuesday I am going to make a presentation to my bosses and recommend a system. (That is part one of the prayer request.) Now for PART TWO. Friday, I was notified about a used automation system. This system has is a $50,000.00 system being sold for $20,000.00. I think GOD is in all of this because 1) I asked for prayer earlier in the week and 2) somebody e-mailed me a suggestion of looking into a used system. What we need prayer for is wisdom and direction. We also need prayer to get the money needed through grants, underwriters, or any other means. This is God's Station. I know if this system (the used one) is meant for us to have, the doors will open. I just appreciate the prayers! Thanks again for your time. I started going to pornographic bookstores when I was 16. I did not accept the Lord as my Savior until I was 20. I had looked at thousands of pornographic p ctures. My problem has caused serious trouble with my school work. One semester was terrible because I spent so much time looking at this stuff on the internet. So bad that I don't think I will ever get a job to support my family. I RECOGNIZE that I AM free. However, with each episode I find myself deeper in despair with a wish to "just die". I am to the point that I demand of God to "just let me die". Please pray for me to have discernment to not do, view or listen to things that "trigger" this problem (i.e. a TV = a bar for an alcoholic). Please pray for me to READ and PRAY. |

To each one of us the Lord Jesus had spoken the years before working with them (we already worked with them on an ind vidual basis). We sat together, talked, prayed and had the impression that the best thing would be to put our strength together - this means to rent a house and live there as a „big" family. Well, it took more than a year and through a mighty wonder we go a really good house - more than 12 romms, a little court, etc.. We are really thankful for this gift. But we don´t want just to live our lifes there but our goal is to let young people live together with us; and the main goal is to show them who Jesus re lly is and to invite them to live their lifes with and through him. At the moment 6 people are living in the house: me - 28 years, social worker Susanne - 24 years - student of social work Family Helbig: Swen - 24 years, working in the same organisation as I do; leader of the projekt (together with his wife) Daniela: his wife, 24 years, student of social work Vincent (3 years) and Claudius (2 years) We have 4 rooms free at the moment and our plan is to let young people live there for a long term - we know God will show us. We don´t think that this will happen during the next five month because we need to „find ourselves" as a team and need this time or preparation and getting to know each other better. Also we don´t exactely what will happen during the next month - two of us are working, the others are studying; but we have received this calling and will follow But - and now I am coming to the prayer requst - we have a lot of contacts to the young people There are times our house is full of them. We spend a lot of time with them, talking, playing, building up relationship etc - but it is Jesus why we are doing i and we know that these kids really need prayer. We will start in September to pray as a team on an regulary basis for them; and regulary means every day. But we need other people to join in and support us. There are churches from Halle who stand behind u - and we are thankful for the gift of having people who really have a heart for these kids. But we need other people, too. We are looking for people who commit oneself to pray for one (or more) of these kids on a regulary basis - praying once for them is nice but we decided to build up something like a prayer group. Maureen's fibromyalgia is responding to a powerful regimen of prayer, medication, diet and rest. She feels better, has more energy, and less pain than she has in months. Her health situation is still like a roller coaster. Our first edition of "The Christian Inmate News" (50,000 copies) will be mailed this week. The newspaper is tabloid size and contains twelve pages. It will be sent to every state and federal prison and the larger county jails in the US. This paper contain the personal salvation and successful living testimonies of inmates for other inmates to read. Satan hates this newspaper. So that you will know a little bit about us, Core Ministries publishes Christian practical "how to" books.
