Community Overview
Woodstock is a village of about 15,000 60 miles northwest of downtown Chicago in the Chain O'Lakes region. Recreational opportunities include the numerous lakes in the areas and the facilities surrounding them. Grade school-aged children attend district 200 schools, which serve Kindergarten through 12th. grades. (See below for details on schools).
Transportation needs are served by area highways (I-90/Northwest Tollway), and major local roads (I-120, Rt. 47). Commuter service to downtown is provided by Metra. Travel time to the downtown Chicago station is about 80 minutes (express). The RTA Travel Info. Number is 1-800-972-7000.
